Bosh will be trained at Randwick. VICTORIAN RACING SENSATION • MELBOURNE, Oct. 28. The Stipendiary Stewards heard the Purser enquiry to-day, and came to the conclusion that Purser was not allowed to do his best in the Coongv Handicap. They disqualified George Tye and J. R. Curteen (the owners), C. F. Godh.v (trainer), and Ji. Cairns (jockey) for twelve months, together with the horse. Notice ol appeal was given.
The ease has excited the greatest sensation ever known on the local turf.
With the disqualification of the owners and trainer, a big string of horses were affected, inchuling Heroic, Irish Jtytlun, Bonaparte, Coolah, and Droseella.
Tito disqualifications are widely dicussed, and are the main feature ol the evening papers. If they are upheld, Heroic may not run in the Melbourne Cup. The appeals will be decided to-mor-row if possible; but present indications are that they will he on Monday.
The Hawk. ’Whittier, Polycletan and Night Patrol are acceptors for the Cox Plate.
Standby galloped ten furlongs in 2.14, the last nine furlongs being done in 1.59 to-day. G. Harrison rides Frames Tressady in the Melbourne Cup.
