The demand is. somewhat slow. New Zealand in bulk is quoted at: White 82s to 90s per cwt, light amlier 77s Cd to Sis per cwt, medium amber none available. Californian water-white offered at OSs per cwt. HEMP.

The Manila market was dull and easier early this week, but there was more inquiry later. “.T ” grade, Oet-ocber-.Tanuary shipment, sold at £55 to £SO 10s and value; now quoted at £SO 10 s sellers. The New Zealand market is steady and quiet. Ilighpoint. October-December shipment, is quoted at £45; fair £l3 and value. WOOD. At Bradford small business is passing. Esers have covered immediate requirements and are buying cautiously. The difficulty in financing Australian clip is causing uncertainity. Tops are quoted at: (M’s (merino) Os oil, 50’s (super half-bred) Is 2d, 40’s prepared (coarse cross-bred) 2s sd.
