Wherever “Safety Last,” 'Harold Lloyd’s latest feature comedy foi I’atlie is shown. it unquestionably will win the applause of the entire atidienee. 7>iit even the most enthusiastic applause can't compare with the cheering crowd that witnessed the filming of the climb in “Safety Last.” News got away that Lloyd was to use the Hank of Italy building at I,os Angelos for a film scene, and three hours before he came the streets around were crowded with Lloyd’s admirers, he being noisily welcomed, and as directors and camera men made preparations, the crowd expected the filming of a comic scene. They saw, instead, one of the most daring stunts ever performed for the camera.
