The match really ended when Australia declared the innings closed at four o'clock, which resulted in a win for New South Wales by an innings and 1911 runs. The latter's second innings was only an exhibition. RatelifFe scored 1(11 in Australia's first innings. SYDNEY, Oct. 20. The cricket match. New South Wales v. Australia was continued in line weather on a good wicket. Australia in the first innings scored 1110, Hornibronk making 25. Kolleivny took .T for 52, and Mailc.v 5 for 97. The balance of Australia’s wickets were quickly disposed of, llornihmok being the only batsman to make a decent showing against the howling of Kelleway and Mailc.v. .lack Gregory proved ineffective with the hall, his record being 9 overs for II runs, and no wickets. Australia followed on, with a proviso that their innings should close at lour o’clock, in order to give some of the New South Wales men who failed to show form in the lirst innings, another chance to prove themselves.
