WEDDING BELLS

A quiet hut pretty wedding was solemnised on Wednesday, October Idtli, at the residence of the bride’s parents at Paroa, when -Miss Catherine James, eldest daughter ot -Mr and Mrs V. . S. James, was married to Mr Lamest Arthur .Morgan. r l In* ceremony was conducted by the Itev. Martin. The bride looked fhuitiling in a frock of white etcpe-Uo-ohine, with over-skirt ol georgette embroidered with pearl and silver beads, and caught at one side with a pearl ornament. She also wore a veil of embroidered tulle caught at both sides of the head with orange blossoms and caried a sheaf of arum lilies. The bridesmaid. Miss l.isbcth James, sister of the bride. wore a frock of pink crepo-de-chino, with sleeves and panels of radium lace, with Dutch cap To match, and carried a bouquet ol maiden hair fern, rununculus and freesias. The little flower girl, Florence Wadsworth, wore a frock of emhriodered organdi muslin trimmed with ribbon. She wore a wreath, and carried a bouquet of blue hyacinths. Mr \\ ililam Dunwoodie attended the bridegroom as best man. After the ceremony, the bridal party and guests adjourned to the breakfast room which was very prettilv decorated in pink and white. Later the bride and In idegronm left for Dunedin and Invercargill. The bride travelled in a braided navy blue costume.
