The Town v. Country pa.mi game took place on Cass Square on Saturday afternoon tl ere being Mime senior players included in the loiiiitrv team, and after a fairly even display the game ended in a draw 12 all.
SHIPMENTS OF MEAT. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended Ith. October, 1921 from Argentine and Uruguay:— 182,-120 quarters chilled beef, 25.022 quarters frozen beef. 27,780 carcases of frozen mutton. 21.016 carcases of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled:—l39,loo quarters of frozen beef, 13,593 carcases frozen mutton.
