A painful sensation was created on Saturday morning when the sudden death was reported of Air Chillies Partiir. Chief Clerk of the State Alines’ Office, Runauga. where lie was lor years past one of the host known, most public-spirited and most popular residents. He was burn in No Town and was 8.) years of age. Deceased leaves a widow, a daughter of Airs J. Hall, of Palmerston North, and five young children. three bays and two girls. In addition to bis mother, ho leaves five brothers, the Aiayor of Greymouth (Air AV. H. Pariitt). Messrs J. Pariitt. Clem Partin, and E. Pariitt. of Greymouth. A. Parfitt. of AVellington and one sister Airs F. C.'ongfiove. Creymouth. ()no of the oldest residents of Runanga. Air AVilliam Alunacster. passed away after an illness lasting some years at 0.20 o’clock on Saturday evening. He leaves, beside tt widow, a family of one son (Ah' Edward Alum-aster, of Bunaiiga). and four daughters. Alesdames Burton (Dunedin), AV. Robson. 11. I .eecli and Dando (Ruimnga).
