The interior was lit with red electric bid's, creating a bright glow in keeping with the ) roper atmosphere for such an occasion. There wore many bright frocks, adding to the tolar scheme. The (loor was in perfect order, while splendid music was provided by McLean's Orchestra of five performers. 'Mho y.weodings went merrily far into the night.

At an appropriate interval supper was served by the brigalesaien under the direction of a Indies’ committee, there being an ample supply of refreshments. Messrs Thompson and Kearns were in charge of the door, and there were no protracted, delays. The music provided a delight to the darners, and nearly all the numbers were encored. Supper extras were contributed by Misses I’asooe, find ’Stevenson, 'and Mr f.awn and others, all assisting to contribute to the thorough enjoyment of the evening. The hall committee of the Brigade is to he congratulated on the excellence of their all round arrangements. The decorations came in for special praise, and by request will be left intact for the present. The comfort and convenience of the dancers was considered at every point, thoughtfulness which will assist in making last night's event a mr-mon.i’de one. A Juvenile dance is being arranged for Friday might in the Soldiers’ Hall.
