The meeting between Heroic and Nigger Minstrel in the Derby and the battle of champions, including Gloaming. David. Rcvclia. Purser and Ballymena in the Spring Stakes are awaited with the keenest interest. Trainer Jones stales that- owing to an oversight Nigger Minstrel was left in the Melbourne Cup when scratched for the Victorian Derby. The lsorso is not going to Melbourne and probably will "'return to Nov. Zealand by tbe Ulimania on Qctolior 11.
