The Admiralty Court Judge lias delivered judgment in (lie cross actions, arising out of the colli-ion between tile Koo.vong and the Whangapo cabled oil February 28th. last). Alcflraith. McFaeharn and Company, owners of the Koo.vong claimed C-HY ".) damages, and the Union Company owners ot Lie Whangnii '. claime! £l2/100. Ihe Judge considered the master ol the Whangapo blanteahle for tho collision in not keeping out. ol the Koo.vong s way. l ut he was not prepared to sav tlie Koo.vong did not contrihue towards the collision.
The Court ordered the Union Company to pav the cost of the Koayong s damages, when the amount was ascertained. and also to pay tlie costs of the action.
