Unite a gloom was east over Arabura district anil Hokitika by the sudden death of Mi Rudolph l.ousich. who was the victim of the drowning accident hist \Ycelnrsehiv morning ns lie was well known tliioughoiit the district. lie had liocn a keen sport and look part in many functions in and around the A ruhura. lie was a member of the A rah lira I.C. lie was a scientific boxer: the last built he fought was with Thistle. He also won several medals for boxing. Deceased was t!7 years of age at the time of his death. The funeral takes place to-morrow at three o’clock, and he will be interred in the Arahurti Maori cemetery.
