The shocks oeeured at Genoa between two in the afternoon and five ill tlie morning. During the evening the i-itt was clinked with refugees. ’I lie audiences forced their way out of the theatres. The terror spread to (he hospitals, where the patients strove to gain their freedom. Many people refused to enter building-.. and are camping in the open. A scries of shocks i ; also reported in the Italian lieviern. So far the damage is not serious, hut (lie shocks arc alarming the people.
