It is the roasting of eoliee-herries that results in the development ol the exquisite flavour so much appreciated hv coll’ee-drinkers. That is well known, lint it is not so well known that out New Zealand-grown tobaccos are now subjected to the same roasting process, ami with the same result. 'I he flavour is brought fully out, while at the same time tlie deleterious properties ol tlie tobacco are destroyed All tobaccos, no matter when- grown, have this in common—that they contain Nicotine, some more, some less. And it is this pot sun that is chiefly responsible tor the sufferings ol those who indulge oo freelv in the use of the fragrant weed. Heart and nerves are generally aflected and often th? eyesight. Scientists now tell ns that toasting neutralises part ol - the nicotine and that toasted tobaccos may. therefore, lie miokwT with impunitv. They recommend IHverhend Gold, mild and aromatic; Toasted Navy Cut (Bulldog), medium strength ; and the full bodied Cut 1 log No R> (Bullhead label). All are toasted. —Advt.
