The Roelloii Ladies’ llockcv Club are inaugurating a five-side hockey tournament to take place oil October Itli. When six heavy trucks became derailed in the Lyttelton railway yard on Wednesday afternoon wayfarers scattered in all directions, and several had a narrow escape from serious injury. Two months ago, the Wanganui Education Board dismissed two lady teachers in the King Country for attending a hockey iouruameiit at Auckland without permission.
