THE WRECKED ASIAN. STORY OF THE RESCFK. LONDON, September 17. The steamer Asian struck at five o'clock this morning in a thick mist. Heavy seas made the task of lowering the boats most difficult, and one capsized, the occupants being in the waterhalf an hour before they were picked up by the Captain’s boat. The fireman of one capsized lot was dashed against the rocks and died soon alter the rescue.
