The funeral of the late Mrs Raymond took place at the Ross Cemetery on Thursday afternoon, and was attended by the many friends of the deceased. Rev. .1. 1C Voting officiated at the graveside. Mrs Raymond was another very old identity of the district, having come from Londonderry, Ireland to Ross J.j years ago w here she has resided continuously ever since. She was always of a kindly disposition and had reached the age of 81 years. Her husband, Thomas Raymond, predeceased her by Hi) years. She leaves a daughter (Mrs .). Miuehsn of Ilarihari) and a brother. Mr John Scott of Russ to whom the .sympathy ot their malty friends is extended . HOLD PROSPECTING.
