The Rarroweliff tragedy was enacted on ,Sunday morning, hut was not discovered lill early oil Monday, when a neighbour entered the house. Mrs Parrowclilf's head was then battered, while Harrowcliff was still alive, King beside her body, bleeding from a deep cut in the throat. He said that he had hit her on the head once, and she never moved.
The couple had just sold the house they lived in for CltllKl. It is stated that Panowclilf was a prominent figure in the Glenrowan district in the Kelly Gang days. A BODY FOUND. The body r.f Mi-- Bridget Knwright. aged till, whn was missing from her home near lieiialla since the 27th July, has been funnel partially buried in circumstances indicating foul play. Miss Knwright lived alone mi her farm. The last time seen she was talking to a. young mini near her home, which showed evidences that it had been robbed, though there were no signs of a st niggle.
Search parties have been out since the disappearance of Miss Knwright.
The body was discovered a short distance from the house. INt.R'KST ON MISS KNWRIGHT. MKI.HOI'PNK. September 10. Tile hody of .Miss Knwright was found in a crevice milling the locks about two hundred yards from her residence. An examination of tin* hody showed the nose was broken, a small hole ill the top of the head, and tin* lower limbs badly liriiiseJ.
