The Prime ..Minister announced yesterday in the House that he had re ceived a communication from the High Commissioner stating that he was arranging to transfer a considerable sum on money to New Zealand at 1 I per cent., which, of course, was a very considerable reduction in the exchange rates, as compared with the rates ruling previously.
