Arrangements have been practically completed for a sculling race for the Australasian title on the Waikato River on October 2.3 th. lietween Hannan (holder) and R. Artist. Residents of Hamilton propose to guarantee CSOO for the contest, while there will lie a stake of £2OO in addition. Hannan goes to Hamilton to-morrow to begin training, and Arnst is unlikely to he absent from the scene very long. If Hannan wins he is prepared to accept a challenge front McDevitt.
