WEST COAST TOURNEY. (IREY.MOI'TH. Aug. 20 The West Coast Coif Championships were yesterday concluded in good weather at Omoto Links. Mr Wright (Timarii) troll the Men’s Championship, while Airs W. T. Sice (Westport) secured the Ladies’ Championship. Mrs J. W. Hannan won the Ladies’ Bogey Handicap, and Henley (Westport) won the Men's Flag Handicap. The links were in fair condition, though there was some water encountered. The final of the Men’s Championship between Mcldruni (Creymouth) and Wright (Titnarn) began in the morning over a course of .12) holes, IS in the morning and IS in the afternoon. At the end of the morning’s play Wright wtts four up. In the afterman: the voting Timaruvian in*.proved his position and ran out at the 12th hole it winner, 7 tip and (! to play. The filial of the Ladies’ Championship wtts played between two Westport contestants, Airs W. T. Slee and Mrs Fair. The former proved too good ami ran out a winner at the 17th hole, live up and four to play.

Mrs J. W. Hannan won the Ladies’ Rogov Handicap, one down. with Miss Wyide and Mrs Coates three down, equal, second. In the Men’s King Handicap, Henley (Westport) carried the flag to the 1 ift!i green and won, Seohcck (Hokitika) (it) yards behind, being second. The Mixed Foursome resulted in McCarthy and Miss K. Hannan winning with a nett score of 77. Second place was filled by I’erham and Miss Reynolds, with it nett score of 78, while Lovell ami Miss Enright (Westport) came third with 7!> nett.
