Arising out of t!ie stoppage at the State Mines on June 11 when, following a dispute over a miner whose lamp was stopped the other men left work, one hundred workers to-day were pro. reeded against by the Inspector of Awards for taking part in an unlawful strike. Thev pleaded guilty, stating that the taetl-ss attitude of an umlerviowor was. responsible. It was mentioned there was a long standing grievance owing to the unsuitability of the lamps, which should be electric instead of merely oil.
