A WONDERFUL NIGHT.
TDK CHILDREN EXCEL. Tn connection with the annual hospital benefit, tile ('ll ihlicn.s' night at the Drill Hall last evening was a wonderful Micros', in the matter of even attendance eclipsing that ol the adult evening, while in the way of fancy costumes. the children far excelled their seniors It wa- a brilliant display and altogether a wonderful night for tlio kiddies. Mothers and friends must
have exercised great ingenuity in de vising many of the costumes. Then were not less than 10') children presell and .scores of them were in fancy cos
tutue. A.-, a .spectacle it was one of tin- brightest- and best m-cii here and was a credit to all concerned. In the early part of the evening dancing and munliing entertained tie juveniles who were all merry am bright, ami their enthusiasm lommuniealed itself to till' audience, so the the air became electric with excitement and created a very animated gatherin' indeed. tumes. and these of course call.much tun. Chatter and laughter fill the air. and the whole scene was moving spectacle of pleasure and i light.
