The Borough authorities contemplate
going in for a scheme of tar-sealing of some of the principal streets of the town. .Mr Heinz, Chairman of the Puhli# Works Committee, ha.s certain proposals in mind for the. erection of a permanent plant, for boiling tho tar etc., and is to confer with Borough Overseer Milliter as to cost of installation. It has boon suggested that the plant might he set up in the Gas Works yards, so as to have the source of tar supply right art hand, thus saving cost of transport handling ole.
