DONNELLY’S CREEK TO BE BRIDGED. As a result of persistent agitation the Ross Janie Company lias received satisfactory assurances from the Government in regard to grants which enable the bridge necessary to span Donnelly's Creel; on the approach to the works, being erected. Hon. .1. G. Coates, Minister of Public Works wired:—“Uo Donnelly's Creek road. So far its Public Works Department is concerned, am prepared to recommend contribution of £7B, as stated to deputation. Question of further assistance will be considered when Estimates are being prepared.” Hon. IV. Nosworthy. Minister of Agriculture wired; —‘"On fiutlier consideration am prepared to provide on tho Estimates a grant of £7B from Department of Agriculture for Donnelly's Creek bridge—payment to be subject to Parliament passing amount." •The balance of the money required will be found bv Westland Comity and Ross Borough each £25, and Lime Company the remainder necessary for the structure.
