The House mot at 2.3(1 p.m. The House spent the afternoon silting transacting formal business, and discussing departmental reports. At the evening session, the Hon. D. Stewart, as a private member, moved the second reading of the Juries Amendment Bill, which, after debate, was rejected by 33 to 20. The House rose ill 11.20 p.m.
