FANCY DRESS BALL.
Last Friday evening the Committee of St. M:*ryV Club held a children’s plain and fancy dress hall iu the Club mom, the function proving a lingo success. A very large attendance of children and parents made the ovonipg !l most enjoyable one tor all. I lie children’s fancy dresses were both numerous ami extensive in variety. Four prizes, two for the best dressed buy and girl, and two for the most original costumes wore ollered, the winner- being .lack Mc\ icar (Scarecrow!. .lack Schroder (Lord Nelson), Filecii McVicar Pegs), and Marina Stephen- (Black Butterfly).
