nv TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSN., COPYRIGHT. DEATH OF J. at’CABE. SYDNEY, July 30. The death is announced of A. J. McCabe, who was a member if tlie famous “Wallabies” Rugby team, LEAGUE AT DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN, July 31. A meeting of representatives of various bodies concerned in the dispute which has arisen as a result of the match in Dunedin, was held last night, when Mr IT S. Irwin acted as a mediator among the contestants. After suggestions by the Rugby olfieials. a tentative agreement was arrived at under which the League game will be played at Talnma Park.
