The police evidence showed that the accused went thronpli a marriage ceremony with a. widow in April, though lie had previously been married to I'-thel May Windsor, at Wanganui, in 1912.
lie admitted having obtained a mariage license under the name of Hary George llcauey. He was commite<l for sejitence.
