In anticipation of a crisis at the Inter-Allied Conference, there teas an unusual crowd of sightseers in Downing Street to-day. The principal Allied delegates were closeted with Mr .MacDonald and Mr Thomas in the Cabinet room this morning.

The “Petit Parisicn” suggests that M. Ilerriot will not hesitate to saerilivo the forty million loan rather than permit tin encroachment on the treaty and the sovereignty ol !• ranee.
