ttv TKi.K.cit.itqi—j'hkss assn'., corvaicnr. LONDON. July 22. At a meeting of the Council of the l.awn Tenuis Association held in London, Australia and South Africa were represented. It recommended the following alterations to the Davis Cup conditions :—'The courts to he either grass, turf or natural or artificial gritty material ; that the choice of ground, court, surface and make of hall lie determined by priority in the draw; that a player representing a nation under the residential qualifications shall lie eligible to represent the nation of his birth after two years interval. Fuder the present regulations ties must be played on grass, unless otherwise agreed.
