McMahon and l.ce held their usual sale fixture at the above Yards on .Monday. The yarding comprised 29 fat eattle from Ilo: klunds and 24 fat cattle from South 'Westland, also 291 fat slice]). Tile cattle from South 'Westland were of nice fpia-lity, hut the remainder of the yarding consisted of light ami unfinished riualitv. The usual attendance of buyers were present and competition was much bettor than last sale. The demand for first- class hoof "as strong. A tom plate clearing of the whole yarding was effected with the exception of one small pen of fat sheep.
