Like the fusel oil in had whisky so the nicotine in strong tobacco is injurious to health. It is an astonishing fact that the leaf produced in certain localities of the Auckland and Nelson districts contains lest, nicotine than any other tobacco known. Industry, because it is just these three mild types of leaf that are cagoil* sought after by many manufacturers abroad, and fabulous prices are often paid for them.
