The remainder of the afternoon sitting was taken up with a discussion on the report of the Cook Islands De-
partment. At tho evening session the following Bills were read a second time:— The Police Force Amendment (Hon Mr Parr), the Copyright Amendment (Hon Mr Parr), Extradition Amendment t Hon Mr Parr), the Sale of Foods and Drugs Amendment (Sir M. Pn in a re), the Local Legislation Bill (lion Mr Bollard).
