ALLIED CONFERENCE.

LONDON, July 17. Australian. Canadian. New Zealand and South African Hit'll Commissioners conferred with .Mr Thomas this morning in reference to the Allied Conlerence, hut it is stated nothing was nettled, pending the arrival of fresh information from Canada.
-A DIFFICULTY. LONDON, July 17. It is understood the difficulty respecting the Dominions representation at the Allied Conference arises from the arranging of a compromise aeeeptahle to the Dominions without evokin'' protests from France and the other Allies, who are opposed to each Dominion separately being represented. W'dng the British Empire six votes rtn contentious matters. The Dominions are reluctant to surrender the separate representation given at Versailles, especially as the present conference is the outcome of the Versailles T rente.
