A very pleasant evening was spent in All Saints Schoolroom last evening when members of the Church Choir entertained Mr and -Mrs Purchas at a sccial evening, prior to their departure for Akaroa. Several soloists rendered items and competitions were hold, altogether (the evening -being most enjoyable. During the evening a presentation was made to Mr Purchas cm behalf of the Choir niembers.
