CANCER GERMS.

|)R GLOVER’S DISCOVERY

NEW YORK. July H!

At. Philadelphia, Dr T. J. Glover, appearing hel.ire a group of eminent physicians, defended his claim i<> tin* discovery and isolation of the germ of cancer, as cabled on June Blh. He showed lantern slides and added biological and morphological data forming tln> basis of an immunity thesis.

(Supporting Dr Glover’s theory were I)r Julian Louden (Chief Physician at St .Michael’s Hospital. Toronto), Dr McCormick (Staff Physician) and Or Eniund K)ing (ex-IYe.-iilent ol the Council of Toronto Academy ol Alcificine). „

Dr Glover gave a scientific exposition of his treatment, saying: In outwork for immunity, w:- inoculated a number of guinea pigs of equal weight, and monkeys of the same size with the old standard toxin, partially neutralised by tlie addition of anti-toxin. These inoculations were made once weekly during three weeks. Then, after watching the animals for three months we inoculated them along with an o<|iinl number of healthy control animals, using a predetermined lethal dose of fresh toxin. The control animals all died within three ilavs. hut the immunized animals survived doses whose virulence was fifty per cent, greater. This. I believe, is applicable to the production of immunity in human being-." Dr Glover added: "Me used healthy bor.-cs. giving a negative glanders test, injecting them initially with anti-toxin, and thereafter periodically injecting toxin in increasing amounts. flic horses within three months developed anti-toxin of the desired potency, which was then extracted by a sterile process for use in the clinic.

During the discussion various physicians, expressing septieism, asking Dr (Dover to give them his formula to enable them to verify his result. T his Dr Glover declined to do. alleging that he was not ready. This caused a distinctly unfavourable impression, and the meeting adjourned with various specialists casting doubts on his data. That sleep-snoiling cough can ho stopped by “NAZOL.” Take some drops on sugar. Penetrating and soothing. GO drops Is fid. Use "NAZOL” and you won’t keep a had cold or sore throat above a day or two. Acts like a charm. GO doses Is fid.
