[Reuters Telegrams.] BRAZIL REVOLT. BUENOS AIRES, July 8. Two hundred and lit tv persons were killed and 200 injured, during the insurrection at Sao l’aulo. in Brazil, on Friday, according to information received hero. BOOTLEGGERS PLOT. NEW YORK, July 8. A telegram from Philadelphia says that General Butler, an anti-saloon crusader, has disclosed a beer smuggling plot showing the bootleggers’ remarkable resources, and that they enlisted the aid of a number of policemen. who used Holler’s official motor, to effect the removal of so-called "high powered" beer from a brewery. Butler’s bright red vehicle, bearing th£ municipal seal, had been regularly kept in a garage near tbe brewery, whence issued five giant motor trucks, laden with beer. These proceeded down the main thoroughfare, ostensibly convoyed by Butler’s automobile wherein sat a figure dressed to resemble Butler. The trucks were escorted to the outskirts of the town, whence tile policemen returned to the city. r J he . plot was discovered through confessions, following the apprehension ol two trucks on the suburban highway. Tin* State’s ai lion against the medical frauds, started last November, lias resulted in the granting of an indictment uf 19 physicians, involving allegations that they operated a so-called diploma mill, or were beneficiaries thereunder. The indictments followed the bearing of the State Board Medical examiners, whereat a journalist from Missouri, who entered the school in order to study its methods, testified daniagingly concerning the means whereby truthful students were victimised. Among the physicians indicted was one from Maryland, and nine Californians, the balance being from Missouri, including Doctor Adeox, who is serving a two years’ sentence. The frauds indicate *St. Louis. Missouri, is the centre of operations. wherefore
