The Commons rend n second time the Lorc-Belissa Bill which provides for tlio limiting of donations mid subscriptions by members of the House. N.Z. CHEESE. LONDON, July 3. In the Commons, Mr Perry alleged that 25,(KM) crates of cheese recently held up in London stores to arrange higher prices, had heeome heated, and was unsaleable. He suggested legislation should be. passed in respect of the operations of interests controlling I a supplies of foodstuffs. Mr Webb replied that he was informed that early arrivals of New Zealand cheese this year were more plentiful than usual and it had been decided to place immature cheese in cold store, in order to provide a reserve for the autumn. He was not aware that any appreciable wastage of cheese had occurred but he would be glad to receive dclaied information.
