Once married to Ashe, Kitty’s troubles begin for out of her excessively spirited temperament springs untold misiortune for both Ashe and herself, which finds expression in the writing of a hook by l.ady Kitty that discloses some of the secrets of the British Ministry and through the connivance of Clilfc. a member of the Opposition who exerts a. sinister influence over Lady Kitty, grave trouble threatcue:! Ashe, who is Minister for Home "'(fairs in the British Cabinet.
