ADDINGTON STOCK IVIARKET.

CHRISTCHURCH, June 20,
Messrs 11. Matson and Co., report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday:— Store Sheep—A medium yarding mostly of dry sheep, very few pens of ewes being yarded and those met with a good sale. A large proportion of the lambs offered wore factory 1 ejects and everything met with a keen demand. Not many wethers were yarded, hut what were offered sold well. Best •Lred ewe lamb 2us Gd to 20s SI. best '-bred ditto to 325, best M.S. J-bred la tubs 2ls (Id to 21s 10d; others 18s Gd to 20s Od; F.M. ewes 22s to 20 s 7d: others 11s to 21. s Gd. Rest wethers 31s to 3as Id; medium 2-V. Gd to 30. s Gd, others 23s to 2 as.
Store Cattle.—A fair sized yarding, hut as usual mostly nou-desorint lots, and no quotable lines were offered. Ail sorts suitable for potting met with the usual keen competition. Fat pigs—A small entry forward which met with a good demand and sold firmly tti last week's tales. Values were light porkers £2 Gs to C2 lost heavy £3 to £3 11s; average | -ci: eGd to Oil. Light le. Conors £1 to £4 KV; heavy Co .Vs to £(>: extra heavy to £0 K)s, average i rice ltd to B',il. Chop tiers £3 os to £7. Store pigs A fair sized entry I’orwatd and all lots sold readily on a par with last week's rates. Values were woaiters I Is Gd to 17s Gd ; small stores 18s to 23>; medium 2Gs to 38s; large £2 to £2 12s (id. N'o sows in pig were oiTering.

Mutton.—A .smaller market, including several southern consignments. The entry included some excellent lines of wethers and ewes hut on the whole the entry hardly was up to the usual standard. The market opened linn at last week's rates ami continued so till the finisli.
