Recently a Mr Winter, of Kanieri, wrote to the ‘‘Grey River Argus” quoting Mr Seddoit in the last Westlanjl contest when speaking at Kanieri, following on the lines of Mr Atmorc, M.l’.. in an alleged unfair attack ou * Mr Holland. M.l’.

Mr Scddon has contributed a lengthy and spirited reply to the correspondent. The letter which appeared in the ‘‘Argus’’ this week concludes as follows :
