LATE LOCALS.
One of Afessrs Newman Bros, largo motor buses when attempting to cross the Waiho river on Alomlay, became .stuck in the stream. Attempts to pull the lm.s out of the stream with three horses failed, and it miis not till Wednesday that the machine was hrought to the hank ol the river. The bus Mas considerably knocked about by the rushing waters which practically enveloped it for a couple of days; and the damage M ill ho considerable. ’I he has M;is coming Irom Wohoka to Waiho when tin' mishap occurred.
