BI'SINESS AND AtjII.KTUH. It was said the other day that the crucial test of u successful business was its athletic association, writes the medical correspondent of the London '‘Times”. This may he putting the case rather high; nevertheless, it is a lin t that the mo*t prosperous enterprises in the country possess, almost without exception, important athletic clubs of which the bulk of tlie employees are members. Moreover, the employers in these great industries, take, a* a rule, a keen personal interest in the development of the sports organisation. q’hat is hut another manner of saying that good business goes out of its way to make n friend of fitness. For indeed the athletic club is an integral mill of efficiency.
