In connection with the vote of three hundred thousand dollars lor the lintish Empire .Exhibition, .Mr Rolib, the Minister of liiiinigratioii. said in the Commons that the Government considered it wise to send a delegation ol seven, representing the diflerent parties and the Semite, to mingle with the representatives ol other parts ol the Empire. The cost of transportation would he four hundred clolhii.* each, and living expenses of twenty dollars daily in Loudon w ould he del rayed by the Government. It was suggested that the chief whip should he considered for tile trip. There is also an intention to include five members of (lie press gallery, there being no clamper way of advertising than through the press. The delegation will lie absent lor live or six weeks.
