In the Commons, Air Lunsbtiry asked if the Government would grant time for a discussion on liis motion asking for tho removal of Justice Me Cardie from the Bench, in connection with his summing up in the O’Dwyer case mon- * tinned on June sth. Mr Mao Don: said that the Government had come to the conclusion that a discussion on the subject would only add to the harm done in India by the words complained j of. .Mr MacDonald said the Dominions Governments had been fully acquainted with the Imperial policy ns regards the Dawes report and the developments therefore their replies were satisfactory.
