Wo regret having to record the death of another old anti esteemed resident, of the district over a long period of years. Mr George Routhan of Goldshurough passing at"ay at the Westland Hospital this morning. The deceased was a native of Warkton, Englaml and 87 years, lie came to the West Coast in the early days and has been a resident ever since, following mining pursuits. Deceased lost his wife some live veins ago.
