(Received this day at 9.J5 a.in.) LONDON, .Juno 32. A Berlin correspondent says dermany undoubtedly intends to pin M. flerl'iott to promise that the military evacuation of Ruhr will commence as soon as the .Experts report was actually put into operation. Speaking at Dessau Herr Strcssomann said he welcomed M. T-Jcrriott’s declaration which would mean the restoration of the status quo if simultaneously the other areas occupied in contravention to the Versailles Treaty were also evacuated. If to that were added the restoration of the economic financial sovereignty of Germany, the door between occupied and unoccupied Germany would he opened once more, and the unity of the lieieh for which Germany had l>eeii struggling ever since the conclusion of peace, would he preserved. Germany in return would give a. fair performance of the conditions attached to the experts reports. If France were willing to live side hy side with Germany, as a peaceful neighbour, everybody in Germany would welcome this as a necessary preliminary to the peaceful development of Europe.
