Speaking at Dessau Herr Strcssomann said he welcomed M. If to that were added the restoration of the economic financial sovereignty of Germany, the door between occupied and unoccupied Germany would he opened once more, and the unity of the lieieh for which Germany had l>eeii struggling ever since the conclusion of peace, would he preserved. Germany in return would give a. fair performance of the conditions attached to the experts reports. If France were willing to live side hy side with Germany, as a peaceful neighbour, everybody in Germany would welcome this as a necessary preliminary to the peaceful development of Europe.
