Tu the Commons replying to a qtiostion in regard to the breakdown of the Mosul negotations, Mr MacDonald said as soon as the nine months period allowed for direct negotiations* by the Treaty of Lausanne had elapsed, the Government would invite the League of Nations to decide the Tiirko-Iniquinn frontier. Mean while they propose to communicate with the Turkish Government thereanent, in order to smooth over any difficulties.
