The executive committee of the 2nd Troop met at the Scout Room last hriday evening, .Mr Cotil.-on being in the eiieir. r.hd it was derided in hold the onarterly meeting of parents and friends on Thursday, July 3rd, at * p.m. Regret was expressed that a number of ilie hoys’ parents fail to appear at these meetings, and it was decided that other ladies or gentlemen interested would be welcomed. The 2nd Ilokitikn Troops Paper Chase and the 2nd Pack's Week-end Camp were both postponed on account

of rain last week-end. They will take place this Saturday if line. After a long delay the Scout Hats for the 2nd Troop are to hand and this troop now hopes lo he aide to appear in luture properly in uniform. It is hoped to arrange a football match between the two Cub Packs in the near future. The 2nd Troop intends to definitely stop recruiting in the town by the end of tins month, ll the fourth patrol is not formed in time it is intended to raise a patrol in one of the smaller township- round about. I lie Cutis have roam for two more boy- and will probably be able to accept one or two others before tile end of the year, wbi :i some o! the elder C libs will probable have "gone up" into the Seoiu Troon, dull'' 17th and 21th will be the dates <ui which boy- wishing to join the fourth patrol van apply at the Scout l’oelll.
