T)u> third aimu.il Winter Shaw of the Is oka talii-K oi t<*ra n tri district took place in the Public Hall Kokatahi on Tuesday and Wednesday and proved an uiapialilicd success. The largo hall was well arranged, the exhibits filling tables on each side and up and down the large hall, while the poultry were exhibited in the old building at the tear. As on previous years the di .- triot made a brave display which was a credit to all concerned. 1 here was a large gathering present yesterday, a largo lieei. of motor car- bringing vt.-i----tor, from all parts of the district, and general approval wa- expros-.od at the line dispbiv of exhibits. The two bays, ivpre-entalivc of the two districts made a brave show, but the w inning display easily held the upper hand. Until contained a very line array of the district products and were generally admired. 'l'ite home cookery .section is always a popular one and the good housewives of the district have no call to be ashamed of their products which were < f a very high class and won general ene.iiiinms. Ihe children's classes also made a very interesting display, remarkable good edect.s being shown. The fancy work section though a comparatively small one attracted the special attention of the fair sex. who showsi! much interest therein.
